Lynch directs Micra teaser

By Published on .

[paris] The Jan. 23 launch of the Nissan Micra across Europe started with a teaser campaign in the U.K. last week featuring a giant pair of blue lips. The theme, created by Omnicom's TBWA/G1, Paris, and directed by David Lynch, director of the movie "Blue Velvet" and the TV series "Twin Peaks," is "Do you speak Micra?" The premise is that the Micra needs its own language, a mix of contradictory but complementary ideas that describe the car. The words, spoken by the lips, include "Spafe" (spontaneous and safe) and "Luxurable" (luxurious and affordable).
