Mother nabs $60M Orange biz

[london] France Telecom-owned mobile phone operator Orange named London hot shop Mother to its $60 million U.K. account after a pitch involving Bartle Bogle Hegarty, 49% owned by Publicis; M&C Saatchi; and WCRS, the U.K. agency for Havas' Arnold Worldwide Partners. The business was resigned last month by previous agency Lowe & Partners Worldwide, London, part of Interpublic Group of Cos. Lowe laid off 23 staffers in London due to the loss of Orange and General Motors Corp.'s Astra model.
