Part-time chair to leave Cordiant

By Published on .

[london] Charlie Scott, Cordiant Communications Group's part-time chairman, will leave Cordiant as soon as a successor is chosen. Mr. Scott joined Saatchi & Saatchi in 1989 as chief financial officer, and moved to Cordiant in 1997 when the former Saatchi & Saatchi holding company was split into Saatchi and Cordiant, the new parent for the Bates Worldwide network. Cordiant's CEO, Michael Bungey, is also leaving and will be replaced by Bates CEO David Hearn in March 2003. Separately, Bates, London, won an international assignment from HSBC, already a client in Asia, to promote its private banking operation.
