Vitruvio tapped for Affinity ads

[madrid] Spanish pet-food company Affinity hired Publicis Groupe's Vitruvio Leo Burnett to handle European advertising for aggressive expansion in Europe with TV and print ads breaking in February to promote Affinity's Advance and Brekkies. Affinity, part of Spanish consumer-products group Agrolimen, acquired the brands last year from Nestle and Mars' Masterfoods, making Affinity Europe's No. 3 pet-food company with an 11% market share behind rivals Nestle Purina (26%) and Mars (18%).
