Work: Archers

Published on .

In three wickedly funny spots for Archers, a flavored schnapps drink that Publicis Groupe's Saatchi & Saatchi, London, is trying to take from quaint to trendy, well-known U.K. drag queen Darcy makes a spectacular appearance at dreary events like an office birthday party with an entourage of 15 buff, scantily-clad young men who sing. In "Train" she invites three girls who miss their subway to join her party train. It was the first ad campaign directed by Stephan Elliot, the director of the camp, cult film "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert." Art directors/

copywriters: Lena Ohlsson and Sarah Sturgess.
