Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) is cutting back its $30 million ad budget, but is sparing a print, outdoor and Internet campaign to promote a new one-day ticket. Fly from a Nordic city in the morning to another European city and return that night. Ads by Interpublic Group of Cos.' Lowe Brindfors, Stockholm, entice travelers with real posters for famous stores, museums and restaurants in European capitals. A poster for Paul Smith's men's shop in London features his well-known stripes, but displayed on a wall and a London car rather than on clothing.
