Work: Siemens

Published on .

Trying to extend Wieden & Kennedy's creative reputation beyond Nike and ESPN, the shop's Amsterdam office is breaking an international spot, "Hotel Room," for Siemens cellphones that offer color picture-taking. "The spot draws attention to the fact that some people will probably use the phone for activities best left behind closed doors," said copywriter Carlos Furnari. "Everything you see, or think you see, in the spot is pixelated, only appearing sharp once seen on the reduced scale of the phone's screen." On TV, the images, including a woman's nude legs, hint at a couple taking pictures in a bedroom. Copywriter: Carlos Furnari. Art director: Richard Walker. AdAge.comQwikFIND aao44h
