Name that Beer! No, Wait. Don't.

For Chapter 8 -- "Sometimes You Just Have to Lego"

By Published on .

In my previous post, I described how the Australian beer marketer Brewtopia designed its first beer entirely based on the input of 15,000 worldwide voters.

The final recipe:

Beer Style: European Lager

Color: Straw

Hops: Saaz & Super Alpha Hops (Imported from Germany)

Malt: Australian Pale Malt (Geelong)

Nose: Earthy fruity aromas

Palate: Low bitterness, smooth on the mid-palate

Alcohol Vol: 4.5%

The final name: Blowfly, as the founders had always planned. In a harbinger of things to come, this was not put to the brewtopians.
