Abu Dhabi to Create Zone for Arab Media

Partners include CNN, FT, Reuters, Random House

The Arab media business is getting a training and business-incubation center and it will be in U.A.E., but it will not be in Dubai. Instead, Abu Dhabi will be the site of a forthcoming media zone where Arab professionals in TV, film, print, online and music will receive training. It's called twofour54, for Abu Dhabi's coordinates.

According to The National, media partners include CNN, the BBC, the Financial Times, Thomson Reuters Foundation, Random House, Harper Collins, Rotana Studios, CSky Pictures, Comedy Arabia, the music promoter Flash, Imagenation film fund and the Abu Dhabi Media Company.
