The Times of London has the scoop on the lurid tale of one Michelle Palmer, a publishing executive who was nabbed for a bit of alleged beach-blanket bingo that a Dubai police officer spied while patrolling Jumeirah Beach. Ms. Palmer and her friend Vince Acors, a Londoner, got slapped with a three-month sentence that the pair plans to appeal. They'll also be deported at the conclusion of their sentence. Apparently, it could have been worse. Reports suggest the pair could have gotten up to six years for having sex both outdoors and outside the confines of marriage.
Ms. Palmer is employed in Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates, by ITP Publishing.
