China's leading ad festival, China International Advertising Festival, is accepting entries from ad agencies outside China for the first time. International agencies can enter the Great Wall Awards this year without paying an entry fee.
The final deadline for the creative awards has been extended to August 18. Work that ran for the first time after July 1, 2011 and before the end of June 2012 is eligible.
The festival, which attracts as many as 30,000 people, is held in a different major Chinese city each year. This year's 19th annual China International Advertising Festival, also known as CIAF, will be held Oct. 27-29 in Tiajjin, China's sixth-largest city, with a population of about 10 million people. The Great Wall Award winners, along with finalists' entries, will be displayed at the festival.
