One Club Sets up Boot Camp

Ad Professionals Work With Students From Concept to Pitch

By Published on .

The One Club held its first Creative Boot Camp last month to help City University of New York students to develop their advertising skills -- from the initial concept to the final pitch.

The four-day session sponsored by HP and Goodby Silverstein & Partners drew 35 students from Brooklyn College, City College of New York, Hunter College and Kingsborough Community College. The workshops, held at CUNY Macaulay Honors College in New York, were led by leaders in advertising and design, including representatives from EuroRSCG, Global Hue, Goodby, Grey New York, McCann, Uniworld and Y&R.

The One Club is a nonprofit organization devoted to elevating creative work in the advertising industry.
