Contenders
The three contenders are Ornelas & Associates, Dallas and Santa Monica, Calif., which is the incumbent on the account; Marca Hispanic, Miami; and the Vidal Partnership, New York. Presentations by the agencies are planned for mid-September.

Select Resources International, West Hollywood, Calif., is the consultant.

Nissan North America is based in Gardena, Calif., and sells cars under the Nissan and Infiniti marques.

Nissan's general-market advertising is handled by Omnicom Group's TBWA/Chiat/Day, Playa del Rey, Calif.
