Contenders
Contenders Acento, Los Angeles; Cruz/Kravetz, Culver City, Calif.; La Comunidad, Miami; and Vidal Partnership, New York, are all 100% Hispanic owned and Casanova Pendrill, Irvine, Calif., is 49% backed by Interpublic Group of Cos.

In an unusual move, Nissan included a Puerto Rican agency, Lopito, Ileana & Howie, of San Juan, on the list; Lopito handles some Nissan business in Puerto Rico.
