DDB/Chicago has named Michael Folino chief creative officer. He was formerly CCO at Dailey & Associates, L.A.

Leo Burnett CCO Cheryl Berman announced that group creative head John Condon will succeed her, effective March 2006.

London-based production company Serious Pictures has signed director Jeffery Plansker to its U.K. roster.

Dallas-based visual effects studio Reel FX has hired Flame artist Laychin Lee, formerly of VT2 Media Design & Communications.

Detroit-based Milagro Post has added visual effects artists Paula Carlson and Alan Simonelli, and creative editor Chris Bickell. Carlson and Simonelli previously worked at GTN; Bickell comes off a stint at Pluto Post.

Chelsea Pictures has signed former Wieden + Kennedy creative Larry Frey to its directing roster.

Directing team HAM (Helen Jones and Marcus Respinger) has been signed to London-based production company Godman.

Margeotes Fertitta Powell, New York, has hired Chris Bradley as creative director. He was previously a creative director at Arnold in Boston.

Director Kenan Moran has signed with Curious Pictures for exclusive commercials representation. He most recently directed a seven-spot Comedy Central image campaign.

New York-based effects studio Guava has hired Steve Talkowski as director of animation. Also arriving at Guava are David Bernkopf, a specialist in on-site effects supervision and Adrian Graham, head technical director.

VFX producer Sean Feeney has joined Golden Square Postproduction, London, as a senior producer after serving as head of animation and postproduction at Jim Henson's Creature Shop and freelancing at Golden Square.

New York-based visual effects and animation studio Spontaneous has promoted design director John Leamy to creative director, and director of animation Lawrence Nimrichter to associate creative director. The company has also hired Andy Milkis (formerly of Splash Design and Black Logic) as director of visual effects, and film and television veteran Amy Teter has signed on as a producer.

Paul Chiemmongkoltip has been hired as an art director in Euro RSCG's Chicago office. Chiemmongkoltip was previously an art director at Draft/Chicago.

Saatchi & Saatchi/Melbourne has hired former Publicis Mojo/Melbourne copywriter Steven Jackson as creative group head.

Toronto's-Rogue Editorial has signed freelance editors Arch Van Dyke and Mark Clermont.

Santa Monica-based production company Millennium Pictures has signed director Marshall Vernet for exclusive U.S. spot representation. Vernet was previously repped by Pictures in a Row.

Chris Allen, formerly senior producer at MPC, has joined London-based post house Absolute as executive producer.

New York-based design/post boutique Perception has hired Curt Neumann as art director. Neumann was formerly a designer at New York's Zona Design.

Marc Ruxin has been hired as chief operating officer of The Mill North America, and Alistair Thompson has been promoted to managing director of the visual effects company's New York branch. Ruxin was previously executive VP-strategy and account service for Gyro Group USA, while Thompson moves up from his position as executive producer of The Mill/N.Y.

Susan Credle has been promoted to ECD at BBDO/N.Y.

Thea Slevin, formerly senior TV producer at Clemmow Hornby Inge in London, has joined Mother/London.
