Creative Artists Agency has brought in Kevin Gelbard to develop corporate partnerships for CAA clients in the music space. Gelbard, a veteran of the entertainment and sports marketing industries, joins from Anschutz Entertainment Group's Envision subsidiary where he served as VP-sales.

Mindshare Internet Campaigns has hired gaming innovator Jack Smith as a senior strategic consultant. Smith's expertise in developing both free-standing online games as well as those integrated with television programming were cited by MIC CEO Dan Solomon as a major factor in the move. Smith was previously president of PeopleSpace.

Sportvision, the leading interactive sports marketing and technology company, has promoted Steven Roberts to exec VP-business development. Roberts will be supported by Jeff Jonas, who was promoted to senior VP-business development. Roberts and Jonas' unit is charged with cultivating new business opportunities with sports broadcasters, leagues and teams.
