After having been wooed by more than one Hollywood tenpercentery, "Survivor" Executive Producer Mark Burnett has signed with CAA. CAA will join Burnett's longtime manager Conrad Riggs as part of the inner circle guiding the producer's career, which is poised to veer beyond reality TV and into scripted series and feature films.

Ric Ocasek, former frontman of the band the Cars, is headed for the executive suite after being named senior VP-A&R at Elektra Entertainment Group, a Warner Music Group imprint. Sylvia Rhone, the label's CEO, announced the appointment, which marks a homecoming of sorts for Ocasek—the Cars were signed to Elektra in the '70s. Since the breakup of the Cars, Ocasek has been active as a producer, working with artists like Iggy Pop.
