David Hockman has been tapped as chairman of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the joint venture of Sony Music Entertainment and Michael Jackson that holds publishing rights to songs from artists including the Beatles, Bob Dylan and Destiny's Child. He replaces Paul Russell, who's bolted for a London entertainment-law firm.

Todd Miller, managing director of AXN Asia, has been upped to senior VP-international networks, Asia, Sony Pictures Television International. Miller will continue to be based in Singapore. AXN is a 24-hour Asian cable TV channel dedicated to action adventure programming.
