In anticipation of its pending merger with Vivendi Universal's entertainment units, NBC has reorganized its senior management structure. Jeff Zucker, who runs NBC's entertainment division, will now oversee news and cable networks CNBC and MSNBC. Zucker will supervise the USA Network, Sci-Fi Channel and Trio once the deal closes.

Vicki Dummer has been promoted to VP-current programming and alternative series development at ABC Entertainment. In her dual role, she'll serve as executive producer on all ABC prime-time comedies while also developing unscripted projects. She'll report to both ABC senior-VP Lance Taylor and Andrea Wong, senior-VP, alternative series and specials.
