Laverne McKinnon has been upped to senior VP-drama development, at CBS Entertainment. She had been VP of drama development at the network since May 2001. She will be closely involved in the launch of "CSI: New York." She has also worked on hits such as "Cold Case" and "Without a Trace."

Anne Sweeney, the newly minted media networks co-chairman and president of Disney-ABC Television, has promoted two executives at ABC Cable Networks Group. Tricia Wilber, VP-business development at ABC Cable has been named senior VP-ad sales and promotion. Mark Silverman, senior VP and general manager of cable channel ABC Family, has become senior VP-general manager of ABC Cable.
