Staples has tapped Davie-Brown Entertainment, Los Angeles, to represent the office-supply chain in all areas of product placement and entertainment marketing. | Volkswagen of America has hired Creative Entertainment Services, Los Angeles, to place the carmaker's vehicles in films and TV projects. | Full Circle Entertainment has named Shane McGrath as director of business development. He reports to Julie Kantrowitz, Full Circle's chief marketing officer, and replaces Russ Axelrod, who is now developing branded-entertainment opportunities at Microsoft. Mr. McGrath most recently served as VP-development and production, Corymore Entertainment, Angela Lansbury's production company. Before that, he was coordinator of the TV literary department at Hollywood talent agency International Creative Management. He started his career with Ogilvy & Mather as an account executive, working on Mattel's Barbie brand. | Studio Services, Van Nuys, Calif., has added Piaggio Group USA to its client list and will represent the maker of Vespa, Aprilia and Moto-Guzzi scooters for film product placement. The firm's other clients include Porsche Cars North America and Airstream. Norm Marshall and Associates formerly repped Vespa, brokering its placement in the remake of "Alfie."
