Kimberly Gabelmann has joined Sundance Channel as VP-branded entertainment and sponsorship. She reports to Kirk Iwanowski, exec VP-marketing, branded entertainment and sponsorship. Based in New York, Ms. Gabelmann will be responsible for contributing to the development of all integrated sponsorship sales and branded entertainment initiatives across the network's branded platforms: on-air, online, video on demand and wireless. She most recently was director, new business development at Comedy Central, and held positions with TN Media and Foote Cone & Belding. | Video-game publisher Electronic Arts has inked deals with in-game ad firms IGA Worldwide and Massive, a subsidiary of Microsoft, to place ads in games over the internet. Massive will deliver advertisements that appear in up to four of EA's titles for PC and the Xbox 360 console, starting with "Need for Speed Carbon" this fall. IGA will distribute ads into a portfolio of EA games, including "Battlefield 2142." Financial terms were not disclosed, but EA could earn in the single-digit millions from the deals.
