20th Century Fox’s action film The Transporter 2,
in which the lead character spends much of his time behind the wheel of a brand-new Audi
A8 W12 Quattro, broke box-office records over the Labor Day holiday weekend, earning $20.3 million. In addition to prominent placement in the film, Audi’s sedan also appears on the film’s poster and in trailers; its on-screen presence is highlighted on the micro-site transporter2-audi.com. The company’s new A3 is also in the film. Propaganda Entertainment Marketing handled the deal for Audi. In 2002, the first Transporter
had its driver piloting a BMW 7-series. But that film earned $25 million throughout its entire release in the U.S. | Mobile virtual network operator Amp'd Mobile
