Anheuser-Busch’s Budweiser has replaced the company’s AmberBock as the “official beer” of the World Poker Tour’s fourth season set to air on cable network the Travel Channel in March. As part of the deal, the Budweiser logo will appear on tables and on in-show graphics; winners of each tournament will celebrate by toasting with Budweiser. Budweiser TV spots will also air during broadcasts. Retail promotions are also planned. | PepsiCo has partnered with Screenlife, the creator of Scene It? The DVD Game to develop a nationwide in-theater trivia program based on the game. Scene It? trivia, sponsored by Pepsi, will appear in theaters before movies in the U.S. and Canada through December 2006. The DVD game is the No. 1 selling board game in the U.S., according to the NPD Group.
