Ford Motor Co.'s redesigned Mustang has landed another coveted product-placement role: In addition to appearances on Fox's The O.C. and NBC's American Dreams this month, the new pony car will also be prominently featured on tonight's episode of UPN's America's Next Top Model during a photo shoot. Also tonight, UPN will announce a "Top Model" sweepstakes at www.upn.com; the top prize is a Mustang GT. Ford's new 2005 marques will be used to transport the model contenders to activities throughout the show's run this season. Ford said it's using the deal to attract women and African-Americans. | In its latest co-marketing venture with Nascar, Warner Bros. Pictures took over the Atlanta Motor Speedway and driver Jeff Gordon's pit crew Oct. 30, in Hampton, Ga., to promote its upcoming family film Racing Stripes, which combines computer-generated talking animals with live-action settings and characters. The studio unveiled a Racing Stripes show car that Mr. Gordon raced in the film, which hits theaters Jan. 14.
