AFLAC will spend $5 million to co-promote Paramount Pictures’ Lemony Snicket’s A Series of Unfortunate Events. As part of the partnership, the insurance company’s “AFLAC!”-shouting duck will make a cameo in the family film, which hits theaters Dec. 17, but the duck will not say his signature line. AFLAC’s campaign, which includes TV spots with footage from the film, starts airing later this month.
