Energizer Holdings has come on board to sponsor the third season of reality show Project Greenlight to promote its Energizer e² Lithium batteries. On-air presence on the show, which gives screenplay contest winners the chance to direct a movie for Dimension Films, includes Energizer signage and product references. Bravo broadcasts the series, produced by Miramax Television and Live Planet and created by Matt Damon, Ben Affleck and Chris Moore. Energizer is also backing an online digital photography contest (www.youtake5.com) that awards consumers a chance to become a red carpet photographer at the premiere of the Project Greenlight movie Feast. Los Angeles-based Tequila, a division of TBWA Worldwide, brokered the deal. | Bulldozer manufacturer Caterpillar has struck a deal with Discovery Channel's American Chopper to feature a custom-built Caterpillar Chopper on April 4 and 11. A companion "Cat Chopper Tour" will launch May 1, with more than 30 scheduled appearances at Cat dealers across the country. Starlink, a unit of Publicis Groupe media agency Starcom MediaVest Group, Chicago, brokered the deal. | American Eagle Outfitters will sponsor the April 7 episode of NBC’s hit reality show The Apprentice, with the task built around targeting the clothing retailer’s primary 15- to 25-year-old demographic. | New York-based Kuma Reality Games has signed with Hollywood’s United Talent Agency to develop episodic games for TV producers that could also be used as marketing tools.
