As reported in the April 28th edition of Advertising Age, McDonald's Corp. is holding talking with shops including Omnicom and Creative Artists Agency about its branded-entertainment objectives, according to an exec close to the situation. A McDonald's spokeswoman would not confirm a specific review, saying only that the fast feeder has "an ongoing dialogue with a number of companies" to build its brand…As also reported in Ad Age on April 28, Richard Hatch, winner of the first "Survivor" and about 30 other reality TV notables have inked exclusive three-year contracts to appear on and promote Reality Central, the first all-reality programming digital cable network… The Pep Boys, a leading automotive aftermarket retail and service chain, has retained Global Icons of Los Angeles to license and market Pep Boys-branded products under the monikers of Pep Boys' founders and characters Manny, Moe, and Jack.
