Coca-Cola Co. announced earlier this week that it will launch an online music store in the United Kingdom. The music store will be at www.mycokemusic.com and will be open for business in January, bowing with about 250,000 tracks from various record labels, selling for about one British pound each. There are no plans to launch a U.S. version…TiVo's efforts to gain critical mass in licensing its technology to cable operators was dealt a significant blow last week when Comcast, the nation's largest cable company, announced that it was partnering with Motorola and TV Guide to develop its own digital video recording capability.
