NBC in Deal With Amazon to Sell Shows on the Web
The New York Times reports on NBC Universal's decision to deepen its relationship with Amazon's digital video download service after a dispute with Apple over the pricing of programming on iTunes. Amazon agreed to give NBCU something that Apple would not: greater flexibility in the pricing and packaging of video downloads. Consumers will be able to buy on Amazon's fledgling Unbox download service show's like "Heroes," "The Office" and "30 Rock."
