ABC Sets Spring 2010 as the End for 'Lost'

The New York Times reports on ABC's decision to end "Lost" in 2010, meaning that at the end of three more seasons we'll finally know just what the heck is going on with that island. The show's creators said they needed to know when it would end in order to "unravel the multiple mysteries that beset the fictional survivors of Oceanic Air Flight 815." ABC, meanwhile, has faced challenges in scheduling the serial drama, which after a change to 10 p.m. from the fall's 9 p.m. time slot, has increasingly become a show that viewers record and playback. Advertisers have said they will only pay for "live" viewers.
