Family Seeks Assurances on Protecting Dow Integrity
The New York Times reports on the Bancroft family's deliberations over how to structure an independent editorial board to safeguard The Wall Street Journal from Rupert Murdoch. If they can just find a way to keep him from having any influence whatsoever over its editors or newsroom budget, then maybe they'll sell Dow Jones to News Corp.
