Online 'Peanut' Gallery Resurrects 'Jericho'
USA Today reports on the saving of 'Jericho,' the CBS series that did very well in the fall but suffered in the ratings after a hiatus and going up against Fox's "American Idol." Entertainment President Nina Tassler ordered seven more episodes of the season, reversing a decision to cancel the show, which focuses on a group of survivors in a post-apocalyptic Kansas town. Fans sent 20 tons of peanuts (a plot point from the last episode) to CBS in an effort to get the show revived, and Ms. Tassler posted a note to them online saying she expected them to be equally as enthusiastic about recruiting viewers for the show.
