NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Hachette Filipacchi Media U.S. has named Todd Anderman senior VP-digital media, filling a post created two years ago by Marta Wohrle, who is now returning to her consulting business, the company said. Mr. Anderman was most recently the president of Maxim Digital; he left in the wake of an ownership change there.

Hachette, publisher of magazines such as Elle and Road & Track, dealt with another departure at the same time by naming Nick Matarazzo, exec VP-group publishing director for the Men's Enthusiast Network, to handle additional responsibilities as exec VP-integrated sales and marketing. He assumes duties that had been handled by Paul Turcotte, who is leaving to run ad sales at Sirius Satellite Radio.

Both executives report to Philippe Guelton, Hachette's exec VP-chief operating officer. "Todd has excellent experience, and we're delighted that he will join our company to lead our digital efforts," Mr. Guelton said today. "We are expanding our websites, adding new content and design elements, as well as expanding our mobile business and other emerging platforms. Todd's focus will also be on adding strategic partnerships and acquisitions."

Mr. Matarazzo will benefit from his long experience at the company, Mr. Guelton added. "Nick Matarazzo is a long-standing senior sales executive in our company, and he's uniquely qualified to take the reins in the corporate sales area," he said. "He knows the strength of our brands and how to package them to provide advertisers with scale and highly targeted demographics."
