NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Horizon Media has brought onboard Sheri D. Roder in the new position of senior VP-consumer insights director. Ms. Roder will join the independent media agency's Marketing Insights Group, offering a strategic focus for clients' businesses that is both "consumer-cognizant and brand-relevant," according to a spokeswoman.
Ms. Roder brings 20 years of experience in strategic planning, consumer insights and marketing on both the agency and client sides. In the past she has worked with JWT, Diageo and Pepsi, among others. Most recently she served as a strategic planning advisor for Saatchi & Saatchi Consumer Healthcare's Pfizer and Merial accounts.
"Sheri will become an extension of Horizon's brand teams charged with helping to deliver the full array of proprietary research tools to drive consumer-centric marketing and media solutions for our clients," Bill Koenigsberg, CEO of Horizon Media, said in a statement.
