Wal-Mart launches in-store network
Most recently, MediaVest's Shopper Marketing practice worked with Wal-Mart to help launch Wal-Mart Networks, the in-store television network unveiled earlier this year that is projected to put 27,000 screens in 2,700 stores across the country.
For her part, Ms. Bottari says she is looking forward to designing comprehensive and holistic strategies for the company, and emphasized her focus on consumer appeal.
"They've done tremendous work to categorize and reach the shopper," Ms. Bottari said of MediaVest. "Given this economy, I think it's a great time for that to be the star of the story again."
Ms. Bottari will be based in New York and will report to Donna Speciale, president-investment and activation, MediaVest USA, and Greg Warren, exec VP-managing director, MediaVest USA.
