MPG's McOwen Jumps to Starcom

Joins Los Angeles Office as Director-National Broadcast

NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Bill McOwen, a prominent media-buying executive, is leaving his longtime roost at Havas' MPG and joining Publicis Groupe's Starcom USA.

Mr. McOwen was exec VP-director of media investments at MPG, where he took lead on cross-platform deals involving all media units. At Starcom, he will be senior VP-director of national broadcast, and will report to directly to President-Chief Los Angeles Operations Officer Kathy O. Ring.

While with MPG, Mr. McOwen was part of Havas' global-investment team and a co-founder and manager of the company's video-investment unit.
