AMSTERDAM (AdAge.com) -- 'Glamour' sponsored a race March 9 in which 150 women ran through the most expensive shopping area of Amsterdam -- in stiletto heels. Four thousand female contestants wearing no-less-than 2 3/4-inch stilettos competed for 10,000 euros shopping money.

WASHINGTON (AdAge.com) -- On March 14 at the Robert Brent Elementary School, Cartoon Network showed its support for Rescuing Recess, a $1.3 million campaign that champions the importance of recess for children. Rescuing Recess provides grants to local and state PTA units, volunteer resources, recess activity kits and on-air public service announcements.
