Us Weekly and OK showed up at the newsstand with nearly identical covers: bold yellow headlines announcing Britney's "new man" and duplicates of a photo with the man in question, Isaac Cohen. Us Weekly dishes on the new romance between the Spears and the model, who she says is "so hot" (clearly Paris Hilton's, however brief, influence). Life & Style blows Spears' cover and reveals what the star isn't telling the Kevin Federline look-alike: Though she's playing it cool for now, Spears apparently is smitten with her new guy and thinks it's the "real deal."
In Touch contributes to the pregnancy rumors that have surrounded Spears of late. The magazine muses on whether the star is pregnant with her third child in light of sudden weight gain, fainting spells and sickness. A "pal" confirms Spears has the same "sparkle in her eye" as she did during previous pregnancies. Given Spears' string of recent attachments, the magazine wonders who the dad could be and draws up six suspects in its paternity suit, including Cohen and Federline. On its website, Us Weekly gives Spears' manager the floor, who calls the gossip "absurd" and "ridiculous."
Though Spears is apparently falling in love with Cohen, Star reports that the man she really pines for is ex Justin Timberlake. He already has his hands full, though, with multiple blondes. The tabloids continue to discuss his fling with Scarlett Johansson, as well as his attachment to Kate Hudson, while Life & Style provides some closure on his relationship with Cameron Diaz and the truth behind their split. The magazine reports that Diaz gave the singer an ultimatum -- move in with her or it's over -- and, well, you know how she fared with that one.
People, which was dealing with its own internal drama this week, focused most of its firepower on the Ohio kidnapping and rescue of Ben Ownby and Shawn Hornbeck.
