NEW YORK (AdAge.com) -- Keith Olbermann was "the person most responsible for innovating and establishing" ESPN's "SportsCenter" and was "more responsible" than anyone else for the success of MSNBC, Current TV Chairman Al Gore said at the ANA's TV & Everything Video Forum in New Yorkyesterday.

That's a big part of the reason Current signed up Mr. Olbermann this week, giving him a piece of the company in the process.
