The company said Steve DeLuca, who joined in 2010 as publisher of Departures, would expand his oversight from Departures and Black Ink to Travel & Leisure, and has been named a senior vice president and publishing director. Jay Meyer, VP-associate publisher of Food & Wine since 2007, has been appointed publisher of Travel & Leisure, reporting to Mr. DeLuca.

Prior to joining American Express Publishing, Mr. DeLuca held numerous positions at a variety of publications, including vice president and publisher of Details and publisher of Rolling Stone. He was associate publisher of Vanity Fair, Conde Nast Traveler, Maxim and InStyle. His career began at Details as sales development manager; he subsequently became advertising director of Gourmet.

Mr. Meyer has served as vice president and associate publisher of Food & Wine since 2007. He joined American Express Publishing's corporate sales team in 2001 as its manager before moving up in the organization to become vice president of corporate sales. Previously, he held several positions in Time Inc.'s corporate sales division, including New York sales manager, sales development director and business development manager.

J.P. Kyrillos was publisher of Travel & Leisure. He resigned and left the company earlier this month to support his brother's election campaign for the U.S. Senate for New Jersey.
