Return of Billboard Music Awards Nets Billboard Magazine Many Mentions

By Published on .

The Billboard Music Awards hadn't aired in five years until last month, when Billboard magazine's new owners shepherded the event back to TV and, it can now be confirmed, achieved one of its biggest goals by getting Billboard huge notice.

Billboard was the top brand for product placement in May, with more occurrences in first-run broadcast prime-time than even integration powers like AT&T, Coca-Cola, Chevrolet and Apple, according to Nielsen.

NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," meanwhile, again topped the charts for the show with the most product placement, according to Nielsen.
