Every weekday, we bring you the Ad Age/iSpot Hot Spots, new and trending TV commercials tracked by iSpot.tv, a company that catalogs, tags and measures activity around TV ads in real time. The New Releases here ran on TV for the first time yesterday. Among the new releases, Google serves up another spot in its continuing, seemingly-everywhere campaign promoting the Google App as a source of instant answers, while Mattel promotes the tablet/PC app that comes with its Barbie Fashion Design Maker Doll. And home-cleaning-and-repair startup Handy -- which just made noise about having $52 million in annual bookings -- takes to national TV to advertise its cleaning-service website/app.
