Kardashian and Jenner Sisters Introduce Apps and Websites With Paywalls -- Native Ads to Come

Personal Diaries and Q&As With Kim, Khloe, Kendall and Kylie

By Published on .

Four of the Kardashian-Jenner family -- Kim Kardashian West, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner -- are introducing individual apps and websites that include free and paid access to content from each of their lives.

The new properties, via tech company Whalerock, include personal diaries, live streaming video, beauty tutorials, workout tips, opportunities to ask questions, special access to events and giveaways and other premium content.

While ads don't appear on the platforms at the start, both the sites and the apps are open to advertisers in the future, according to a spokeswoman for Whalerock. Instead of traditional display ads, they will likely integrate native advertising, she said.

The websites will be a mix of free and subscriber content, while the apps will be predominantly subscription-based. Subscriptions cost $2.99 per month.

The apps follow Kim Kardashian West's successful mobile game, "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood."
