The Media Chart for April 15: Star Wars, Nothing but Star Wars

Franchise Now Sits Atop DVD Rental Chart

Published on .

The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

Even as Walt Disney Co. released the trailer for the next installment of its Star Wars franchise, the most recent one is topping two of the ratings charts. "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" is still the top domestic box-office earner year to date. And it was also the No. 1 DVD rental for the week ending April 10.
