The Media Chart for April 30: 'Game of Thrones' Reigns Supreme

Published on .

The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

Winter might be over in the real world, but it's unrelenting approach toward Westeros was good news for HBO. The network's "Game of Thrones," making its season debut last Sunday, shot to the top of the cable ratings for the week ending April 24.

HBO found some success in the Twittersphere as well. Beyonce's "Lemonade" didn't top the ratings charts on TV, but it did drive a ton of social-media mentions.
