The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

LeBron James led the Cavaliers to an NBA championship in a nail-biter seventh game that scored the highest NBA ratings of the post-Michael Jordan era for broadcaster ABC. Over on cable's HBO, marauding hordes of "Game of Thrones" fans watched Ramsay Bolton get his comeuppance.

Celestially speaking, the solstice heralded the new season -- and the race for song of summer 2016. Drake, Desiigner and Justin Timberlake are all off to strong sonic starts.
