The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

August has come to a close and we're about to head into fall TV season, but in the mean time ... there's just not a lot happening, it seems. NBC's "America's Got Talent" was tops in broadcast, followed by CBS's "60 Minutes." CBS and NBC locked down the entire top 10. On cable, TNT's "Rizzoli & Isles" is finishing out its last few weeks of existence as the No. 1 on that chart. Viewers must be so bummed out to see them go, they just can't change the channel, giving "Major Crimes" the No. 2 spot.

And Melissa McCarthy flick "The Boss" topped last week's DVD rentals, besting "Superman v Batman."
