The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

Even with the handwringing over the NFL ratings, football is still doing fine in relation to the rest of the competition on TV. As the only broadcast network without professional football, ABC might seem at a disadvantage, but for the week ending Sept. 18, the network stayed in the game, with The Emmy Awards coming in at No. 7 and "Dancing With the Stars" sashaying into the No. 5 slot.
