The Media Chart is a weekly look at what's topping the rankings and the ratings.

No big surprise in broadcast this week: The NFL playoff game between Arizona Cardinals and Carolina Panthers topped the chart. Some might be surprised that Discovery's "Gold Rush" was tops in cable. At the box office, "Star Wars" is still the force to be reckoned with -- and "Hotel Transylvania 2" scared up the most DVD rentals for the week.
